Wonder Woman: Eyes of the Gorgon by Greg Rucka
In order to defeat Medusa, Diana burned her eyes out with the acid from the mouth of a snake from Medusa’s head. Wonder Woman then proceeded to decapitate Medusa…blind.

Wow, very nice site – not too many that are this dedicated to comics. Check out my website in the url and send me an email if you would be interested in trading links and posts – my site has a ton of comic fans.
Thanks!
Paul
Hey Vanessa, it’s Blake. Nice site. I met you at Free Comic Book Day at the Cosmic Cat. I like the art above, let me know if you ever want another one, I’d be glad to pencil it, ink it, and color it for you. Or for that matter if you need any comic art at all. As I said the other day, I have my independent, self-published comic book, and one I’m doing for a woman in London right now, but always have time for comic books. It was nice to meet you. Take care, Blake.
Hi Blake!!! Thanks for stopping by. It was a pleasure to meet you as well. I will definitely keep you in mind for our future art endeavors! Totally enjoyed issue one by the way.
Really liked your review of “CHEW,” couldn’t agree with you more. As I first started reading it, thought the art was a little too simple, but as I read on, thought it really fit the story. Also, have you ever read “Daytripper” or “Joe the Barbarian?” Really cool books.
THANKS! I also thought the art was simplistic at first, but it ends being a great meld with the graphic nature of the text. A happy medium.
The art of Daytripper has caught my eye more than once, and I do so enjoy the crazy that is Grant Morrison. Per your suggestion, I may just have to grab both.
I do illustrate avatar’s for a video game site. Looks like you guys could use them.
I just sent to twitter the finalized tight pencils I was working on for the graphic novel in London. If you wanna see it, just follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or give me your email and I’ll send it to you. If not, still cool.
I’m glad you liked #1, although my art has slowly become so much better, it makes me kind of laugh when people buy it, cause I look back and say, Dang! RAZE #10 should come out at the end of this year, this will be the last issue where they’re in the snow, then the fun begins. Thanks again for Buying. #1.
Hope you got to see the inked cover for the graphic novel in London I posted to Twitter & Facebook. If not let me know, and I’ll send it directly to you. I’m now digitally coloring it for the final process.
Hi Vanessa, a friend sent me the link to your blog and I love it! I’m new to comics and would love to get some recommendations from you on where to start; can we chat via e-mail?
So we both like Gail Simone and Ed Benes…we should be friends!
Thanks for chat Vanessa, it was nice to have met you in the Heroes panel. Maybe I’ll run into you tonight.
Vanessa. I know I have the smarts. But I am also wondering if I have the game to pull a “girl-gone-geek”. Well, I guess we’ll see.
